Bill Donohoe’s experience as Executive Director of the New York City Department of City Planning, Executive Vice President of the Battery Park City Authority during its most formative period, and private developer gives him a truly unique perspective into large-scale development and the public approvals process. Bill’s insights into the personal impact of large-scale planning grew out of his years with the Peace Corps in Africa. He has brought this understanding to many of the most significant planning initiatives in the City’s recent history, including the rezoning of Downtown Brooklyn, the resurgence of Rockaway Peninsula, and the rebuilding of the World Trade Center.
